In this story, an employee was anxious after she had an outburst directed towards her boss shortly before an important client meeting. He had come over to her desk to ask her something, and in the process had accidentally broken a glass organizer that held sentimental value for her.
Although he apologized for the accident, the employee quickly got angry, and when he continued talking, she told him to shut up. Although their meeting went well, she still felt like she had crossed a professional boundary. She was worried about how to go forward with the situation, not least because the friend who gave her the organizer revealed that it was not very valuable.
